Every couple has an amazing story to tell and an incredible history. Celebrity power couples such as Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi...even our favorite fictional couples like Aragorn and Arwen or Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson.
Is the story of Jamie Hermer and Harrison Taylor an epic one? To some, yes indeed it is! To myself (Harrison), it is precious. It is full of laughter. It is full of memories. Many tender moments and grand romantic gestures. Heck, there is even anger and stress mixed in there too! When Jamie and I met in the summer of 2013 I had no idea we would end up with the amazing cocktail of a relationship that we have now. When I first laid eyes on him and his very laid back sense of fashion and casual posture, and he glanced over me and my rainbow hair and very colorful outfit, I imagine the same thought crossed both of our minds...."Wow, are we ever different!" I gotta say though...our differences immediately became our strength. Sure we do share a lot of interests, but I finally felt like I found the yin to my yang. It sounds very cliché but opposites truly do attract!
We spent an amazing few years getting to know each other, eventually moving in together in 2015. We have lived in a few places since then, but every new place is a new adventure. Right now we are preparing for our biggest adventure of all, because in May 2018 Jamie proposed to me and asked me that one question that so many people look forward to hearing and answering........"Can you make me a sandwich?" Just kidding....he didn't say that, but I did say the word "No" roughly six times (not out of rejection, it was out of disbelief!).
